Your buying journey

What’s included

  • Compare layouts and specifications
  • Review the full project budget
  • Prepare permits, land, and utilities
  • Coordinate delivery and final inspection

1. Define your needs

Start with household size, preferred layout, accessibility needs, land availability, and a comfortable total budget. Compare bedrooms, bathrooms, square footage, home sections, storage, and optional finishes rather than choosing on appearance alone.

2. Choose a home and confirm the scope

Review the listing, floor plan, included features, available options, estimated production status, and warranty documents. Ask for a written summary showing what is included in the home price and what must be purchased separately.

3. Plan land, financing, and approvals

Confirm zoning before committing to a home. A lender, insurer, local building authority, and qualified site contractor may each need home specifications, foundation details, surveys, or permits. Requirements and timelines vary by property and jurisdiction.

4. Prepare for delivery

Complete the foundation or pad, access route, utility preparations, and required inspections before scheduling transport. Delivery, installation, utility connections, exterior work, and final inspections should be documented so every party understands its responsibilities.

5. Walk through and move in

Inspect the home, record any incomplete or damaged items, retain your purchase and warranty documents, and confirm how service requests are submitted. Occupancy should begin only after required utility, safety, and local approvals are complete.
